  • WHAT IF I HAVE MY OWN BIKE?
  • Our Trek Hybrid bikes are designed for these types of tours.  If you have your own bike and it is a hybrid, mountain bike, or a recumbent bike that can take curbs and bumps along the way, you are welcome to use it instead of ours, but we suggest leaving it home and using ours for these tours.  If you choose to bring your own bike, please note it in the comments of your reservation.

  • DO I NEED A RESERVATION?
  • Yes.  It’s best to buy your tours in advance, but same day tours may be scheduled.  Please get a confirmation from us before you come.  All tours reserved are non-cancelable and non-refundable unless e2ride bike tours does not ride that tour.

  • WHAT KIND OF BIKES DO YOU PROVIDE?
  • We provide comfortable, easy to ride Trek 7200 hybrid bicycles. A hybrid bike is very easy for everyone to ride. It is one that blends the best characteristics of both road and mountain bikes into a bike that is sturdy, comfortable and ideal for riding on back roads and sidewalks. These hybrid bikes are much easier and more comfortable to ride than the bikes we grew up on.

Features of a hybrid that come from mountain bikes are a more upright frame, offering a more comfortable riding position, a stouter frame that can handle more weight — in rider and/or cargo — as well as absorb the bumps with shock absorbers that cushion the ride.

  • MAY WE BRING OUR WELL BEHAVED CHILDREN?
  • Our bikes fit people 4’6 inches and taller. If your child fits our bike and is used to riding, and enjoys this type of activity, they will have a good time. OR if you want to bring their bike, providing it is in good working order.

We do not recommend our tours for little ones. We have a top of the line Chariot for children. Our childs trailer holds 2 children – up to 75 pounds max. Good for children ages 6 months and up and includes helmets. $30 per child or $50 for 2 children. If you are only bringing one child, keep in mind another child may sign up and ride in the trailer along with your child. (kind of like in kindergarten) You are 100% responsible for your child on the tour, and will be signing a release form. Please make sure you know your child is up for this kind of activity. If not, please do not bring them. No food permitted in the Chariot. Call to reserve the Chariot in advance at 904-945-1571.
